Selwyn College

Selwyn College

Selwyn College was founded in 1882 in memory of George Augustus Selwyn, the first Bishop of New Zealand. Built in a Tudor Gothic style and set in secluded grounds, Selwyn College's tranquil location is just a short stroll from the city centre through the beautiful college gardens and the famous riverside Backs.

The College offers a choice of accommodation. Our new building, Ann's Court offers superb comfortably furnished en-suite bedrooms. The Old Court provides a taste of traditional college life with shared bathroom facilities.

Robinson College

Robinson College

Robinson is the newest college in the University of Cambridge. It was founded with a donation by the entrepreneur and philanthropist Sir David Robinson and formally opened in 1981. It now has 80 Fellows, and around 400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students.

The red-brick main block houses the majority of the undergraduates, library, chapel and dining facilities. In addition there are a number of older houses dating back to the 1890's and the whole site centres around the large tranquil garden and lake.

Robinson College bedroom

Bedrooms at Robinson College are in two-bedroom suites with a bathroom shared between the two rooms.

All rooms are centrally heated and have radio alarm clocks and a tea/coffee making tray with mineral water. Beds are made with duvets in covers; bath and hand towels are provided as well as a complimentary vanity pack. There is an internet connection in each room.
